Twitter: @printpiece To encourage engagement the project was also documented on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pieceprint/ How I Designed This TinkerCAD Creation I designed this simple pawn piece with TinkerCAD by dragging and dropping various dimensional objects such as cylinders, cones, spheres, etc. and overlapping them to create a chess piece. Project Pawn Replacement By completing this project, you will have learned how to replace a lost pawn so you can keep playing with your chess board. Download Instructions: https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/64/d2/ff/95/4d/Replacement_Pawnfinal.pdf First, open Tinkercad and start designing your pawn using the various three-dimensional objects located on the side of the screen. Next, press Design-Download for 3D Printing and wait for it to download. Select “.stl.” When you finish downloading and open the file in the MakerBot software, prepare the “.stl” file for printing. Lastly, connect to a 3D printer or export your file to a flash drive and print your new 3D pawn.
