Paving Slab Spacer
thingiverse
This was a quick print for a small job I'm doing in the garden. I'm laying some concrete slabs and needed some spacers to get the joint even. The standard gap is generally between 8 - 10 mm, so I made the thickness 9mm. The idea is to lay the slab in place with two of these inserted to create an even space. Then you remove them before putting filler or sand in between. I'll take a photo of them in use later when I do the actual job. It was printed in ABS because that's the only orange material I had. The reason for the orange color is so they can be seen easily if they get kicked around the job.
