Paul Adams' balsa crankbait, but printed!
thingiverse
Human: I designed 3D printed parts to replace the wooden and plastic components of Paul Adams' balsa crankbait design. Print Settings Printer: Malyan M150 i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1-.2 Infill: ~35% Notes: I found that using 2 perimeters and a 35-ish percent infill gives the part a similar density to balsa wood. Post-Printing After printing, I followed Paul's video tutorials and discovered that the brass rod can be replaced with a simple home-cast tin/pewter one. Lead might also work, but it would likely sink like a stone, which could be exactly what you're looking for.
