Motor Mount for Pattaya 3D Sail Plane: A Compact Solution The motor mount is a single, compact piece designed specifically for the Racestar2205 motor. However, it may also fit other motors of similar size. To secure the motor in place, I used the short M3 screws provided with the mount. This ensures a tight and reliable connection between the motor and the mount. When mounting the motor on the sail plane, I drilled holes into the fuselage to accommodate the mount. To prevent any damage, I made markings on the printed part before drilling the holes, taking care to drill them at an outside offset. This helps maintain the structural integrity of the plane's body as the screws are tightened. It is essential to avoid over-tightening the screws, as this may cause the body to split and come apart. To prevent this, ensure that the holes are not too close together. I did not use glue in my installation, opting instead for a removable solution. This allows for easy removal of the motor if needed in the future.
