Isidoro Canyons is a comic from Argentina created by Dante Quinterno. Originally designed as Patoruzú's secondary character, Isidoro gained enough popularity to have its own story. The character embodies the carefree playboy spirit of greater Buenos Aires and his life with Cachorra, his beautiful young accomplice, between Colonel Canyons, an authoritarian uncle who is often clueless about reality, and other characters that add to Isidoro's adventures in each new "madness". Patoruzito is a cartoon character created by Dante Quinterno for the eponymous magazine on October 11, 1945. The artist responsible for Patoruzito was Tulio Lovato, and Mirco Repetto wrote the script. Designed for young readers, Patoruzú represents childhood and adolescence.
