Patio umbrella pole insert

I created a new insert for a coworker who requested some replacements for the poles of his patio umbrella. He asked me if I could make them, despite never having seen the actual umbrella. Apparently, this part fits into a pocket in the umbrella's fabric to keep it stable. There were two sizes available, but only the smaller one is included here. My coworker was pleased with my prototype of the larger piece, even though it was made before I learned how to use hull to round out the edges. This was my first time using OpenSCAD or any CAD software, so feedback on how to improve would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a photo of the finished product before giving it away.
