We have an old Coke cafe umbrella that came with a heavy cement-based stand, decided to pull the umbrella and use it with our patio table. Problem was, there was no way to protect the bottom of the umbrella's pole from the cement patio, and it also had a tendency to tilt due to large fittings on the table.
