Our feline friend consistently managed to crash through the fragile screen door with the mosquito netting, flinging it wide open, and making a break for freedom. To put an end to this relentless escape artist's antics, I designed a sturdy locking mechanism that seamlessly integrates into the horizontal bar running down the middle of the door. This clever device then clicks securely into place on the rail of the roll-up blinds, providing a reliable barrier against any future Houdini-esque attempts. What's more, its mirrored design allows for easy adaptation to either side of the door, depending on how it swings open.
