This generates a collection of nested quilting templates with standard 1/4-inch cutting margins based on a fundamental hex tile of a dimension you choose to specify. The templates feature a fillet edge (specifiable) to make it more difficult for cutting blades to damage the template. There are STL files available for a 4-inch hex tile, and there are eleven tiles in total, comprising the base hex tiles. A Rhino3D file and accompanying Grasshopper program are provided to generate the tiles in any size you desire. The STL files are exported to a folder of your choice, with instructions included in the Grasshopper file. You can also specify the knob profile and adjust its dimensions parametrically as needed.
