The Offenhauser-powered Pat Clancey Special made a name for itself competing at the Indy 500 twice in the late 1940s, claiming a best finish of 12th place. This car was also put to the test on dirt tracks like Milwaukee and other speedways of its time. The brainchild of owner and commissioner Pat Clancey, a shrewd trucking company owner from the South, the car's design was inspired by the traction prowess of his twin screw rigs. Convinced that adding a second axle (both axles powered) would be the key to success, Clancey set out to create a hot ticket to stardom.Model dimensions: 4530 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1325.6 mm in height.Designed using Solid Works 2012, rendered in Keyshot 5.0.99.Check out these useful links for more information on the Pat Clancey Special:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93xGqQA9uNg&t=129s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQh31N5DAfM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93xGqQA9uNg https://macsmotorcitygarage.com/two-wheels-too-many-the-story-of-the-pat-clancy-special/https://bangshift.com/bangshiftapex/racingjunk-find-buy-perfect-recreation-six-wheeled-pat-clancey-s...Price: $100.00 Date added: Feb 06, 2019Product id: 5c5b046d700ae08d368b4567
