Working yet still a work-in-progress solder paste extruder. This is part of the BambiPNP pick-and-place system designed specifically for the Replicator 1 Dual and clones. Design requirements were clearly outlined: 3d printing only was required, with no need for laser cutting or any other techniques Good tolerance of low-resolution printer performance was a must Few non-printed parts were desired, with only a few exceptions noted below The following non-printed parts are needed: * Nema 17 stepper motor * 3x 100mm M6 roofing bolts * 5x M6 roofing bolt nuts * Standard 10cc syringes Interestingly, the nuts and bolts used appear to be common in the UK only (despite international shipping being free) TODO list includes: Adding a carriage mount Moving the stepper down to prevent cable clashes with the printer case Adjusting to accommodate an XG Z40 syringe Considering standard 100mm M6 hex bolts instead Print Settings: Printer: CTC Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 10% Notes: Only gear1.stl requires support Post-Printing Instructions: Place one bolt, pointing upward, into each of the slots on top of the body and secure with a nut. Slide a bolt into the rail guide so the triangular tab fits snugly into the screw head. Secure with a nut. Remove supports from gear 1 and fit a nut into the depressions on both sides. Place these into the gap in front of the body, lining up the nuts with the hole in the body. Slide the rail guide onto the rails, with the bolt fitting through the hole to gear 1. Screw the bolt through the gear by turning it to the right. Once it's protruding, screw the plunger head onto the bolt. Fit gear 2 onto the stepper motor. Slot the stepper motor into the side of the body, optionally securing with screws. Remove the plunger from your syringe and attach the rubber bit to the extruder's plunger. Fit the syringe into the extruder!
