Paste / Clay Extruder
thingiverse
This is an open source paste extruder I've been researching and developing for nearly nine months now. Below are the parts needed to build your own. 2' Tube from McMaster Carr: https://www.mcmaster.com/8585k38 Hardware Kit I Use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H4MG7TC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 High Torque NEMA 23 Stepper Motor https://openbuildspartstore.com/nema-23-stepper-motor-high-torque-series/ Lock Collar x2: https://openbuildspartstore.com/lock-collar/ Flexible Tube - This tube connects the nozzle to the front of the extruder. It can be cut short as a small safety measure for crashing into the table or used in full length to keep the reservoir mounted off the toolhead. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-5-8-in-O-D-x-3-8-in-I-D-x-10-ft-PVC-Braided-Vinyl-Tube-HKP002-PVC001/303132532 I'll update this if anything else is needed, but I believe that's all you'll need to get started. Clay of course is also required, so pick your own and find a mix that works for your needs! To get started, try using Stoneware Cone 10 clay with about a 30% water ratio.
