As I stepped into the abandoned asylum, a chill ran down my spine. The air was thick with the stench of rot and decay, and I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being watched. Our guide, a gruff but knowledgeable historian, led us deeper into the heart of the decaying building. We walked through rooms filled with rusting medical equipment, old hospital beds, and dusty filing cabinets. Every step creaked beneath our feet, echoing off the walls like a scream in my mind. The further we went, the more I felt like I was trapped in a living nightmare. Suddenly, our guide stopped in front of a door marked " Ward 13." He turned to us with a somber expression and said, "This is where it all started. This is where the patients were kept when they began to...change." As he spoke, the lights flickered and died, plunging us into darkness. We stood there, frozen in terror, as the silence seemed to grow thicker than the air around us. And then, we heard it. A low, mournful moan that seemed to come from all around us, echoing off the walls. It was a sound that chilled my blood and sent shivers down my spine. I knew then that we were not alone in Ward 13, and that something was waiting for us in the darkness.
