Paseo Reforma - Mexico City pt. 7
myminifactory
Welcome to CDMX! As a tribute to Mexico's vibrant capital city, MiniWorld 3D presents an incredible collection of its iconic landmarks and famous buildings! This massive project is so impressive that we'll break it down into manageable parts, each featuring a few buildings with a unifying theme. Part 7 showcases the breathtaking structures along Paseo de la Reforma, one of Mexico City's most significant avenues. Connecting downtown to Chapultepec, this historic pathway is home to numerous influential buildings, including the US Embassy, luxurious hotels, the Mexican Stock Exchange, and awe-inspiring sculptures like the Huntress Diana, Cuauhtemoc, and the legendary Angel of Independence. The Column of Independence was erected in 1910 to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of Mexico's declaration of independence. Perched atop is Nike, the majestic winged Greek goddess of Victory, commonly known as "el Angel." This iconic monument has become a symbol that embodies Mexico City (CDMX). The Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores) boasts a unique and modern design, resembling two intersecting triangular prisms and a semisphere, all clad in mirrors. Reforma 265, situated right next to the Stock Exchange, currently serves as an Intelligence Center. Last but not least, la Torre del Caballito (Tower of the Little Horse) stands at the beginning of Reforma avenue, where it intersects with other major roads. A sculpture of Charles IV, King of Spain riding a horse once stood here and earned the nickname "El Caballito" (little horse). Although relocated, a vibrant yellow sculpture by artist Enrique Carbajal now occupies this spot, inspiring the name for the modern black mirror building. Keep in mind that all models within the Mexico City series are meticulously designed to scale with one another, allowing you to compare their heights and sizes! MiniWorld 3D is thrilled to bring these incredible models to life and spread joy among the residents of Mexico City! MiniWorld 3D is a treasure trove of 3D printable landmarks and models from around the world. Each model is lovingly crafted by hand and brain, so please give credit where it's due.
