Parts holder Paint Stand for Models
thingiverse
I've been using the small Mr Hobby parts holders, but wanted to be able to fit more parts and didn't have any cardboard or wood laying around to make my own, so decided to quickly knock up a print. I printed this with my standard 0.2mm layer height and quality settings, nothing fancy needed, just make sure your retraction settings are good to avoid unnecessary stringing between/inside the holes. I've made the holes 3mm in diameter to fit the parts holders I use (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09H7G5RFV/?coliid=I2U6AHOCZO24C6&colid=1UHMQRY9KAIIG&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it ) I originally designed them to be only 2.5mm in diameter, but that proved to be just a tiny bit too tight of a tolerance and made putting the holders in more annoying than it needed to be, if you need the holes to be a different size then you can adjust the scaling of the part.
