Parts for replacing the microswitches in Yamaha MSX slots
thingiverse
These 3D models are designed for replacing non-working microswitches in Yamaha MSX computer slots. The original microswitches are no longer manufactured and a suitable replacement is available at this link:\r\n\r\nhttps://www.aliexpress.com/item/10-Pcs-125V-1A-SPDT-Subminiature-Micro-Lever-Switch/32925876989.html\r\n\r\nThese 125-volt-rated microswitches are ideal for low-voltage circuits like those found in MSX computers.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, the replacement microswitches are not tall enough to fit into their original placeholders. As a result, an extension must be printed and glued to the bottom of the switch. The extension is designed so that wires can be soldered directly to the microswitch after installation.\r\n\r\nTo secure the installed microswitch in place, another part must be inserted into the gap near the switch holder. This ensures the switch remains firmly in position and prevents movement when a cartridge is inserted.\r\n\r\nA "noholes" version of the extension with a 0.2mm polygon on its bottom is also provided for printers that struggle to print small details in the first layer.\r\n\r\nIf you would like to express appreciation for these efforts, please use the "Tip designer" button on this page: https://www.thingiverse.com/Wierzbowsky/designs
