Parts 001...010 - The CAD Album of 100 CAD Parts
grabcad
This library consists of an album with a collection of 100 parts, divided into ten groups of ten parts each. Each part is remodeled from the original AutoCAD files using Inventor 2014 as IPT files and arranged in order of complexity, numbered from 001 to 100. The library aims to provide 100 models for users interested in learning CAD software by modeling each part from simple to complex. The title picture "All 100 parts.jpg" or the included "All 100 parts.pdf" shows a table with all the parts, except for Part 001 due to table arrangement limitations. Inventor users can open the IPT files and move the EOP marker to see how each part was made, while IDW files contain necessary dimensions and data for creating models. PDF and JPG files also provide visualization options for non-Inventor users. The best learning method is to print the IDW or PDF file and recreate the model using the drawing, without additional resources. There are at least five files for each part: IPT, IDW, JPG, PDF, and STP. Users can download all 100 parts (over 500 files) and create 3D models while enjoying the learning process. The volume of each part is displayed in the IDW/PDF file for verification purposes. The library may be updated periodically with refinements to individual models, so users are encouraged to download the files whenever needed. Any missing elements in PDF files can be reported by users, and their names will be mentioned alongside an apology in the description of the respective part. Treads are represented as texture instead of true helical features for better presentation in drawings. The creator reserves the right to change any file in the library to enhance the model, drawing, or position of parts.
