I've always been frustrated by the prices of professional drawer organization systems like L*st* and the subpar quality and limited usability in cheaper options. But being annoyed is one thing - taking action is what really matters! So, I decided to start with a few simple troughs for cylindrical tools like drills or similar items. The inserts don't conform to any specific standards except that they are 25mm high and a multiple of 50mm. You can use almost any combination in your drawers. The inserts can be screwed to the drawer base or anywhere else you need them with M3 socket head screws. I'll be posting more inserts in a few days, including ones that are 150x150mm and 100x100mm wide. Future generations will have the opportunity to make sub-divisions within the field itself. My suggestion is to print these in ABS plastic if you use them in a Metalworkingshop like I do. I would also recommend printing in signal colors so that you can better see the tools stored in it. Please excuse the distorted photo - Thingiverse probably has some issues right now. I completely revised the profile of the inserts on December 30th to use less material and make them easier to clean if needed. The inserts are compatible with each other, so you can use the new profile or the old one, even mixed together - no problem - as long as they have the same width. However, this is only a limitation for the new "open" missions. These are designed for storing longer tools. My suggestion is to use supports when printing.
