The white box is a standard junction box, not printed.\r\n\r\nThis is a frame for a luftdaten.info compatible particulates sensor.\r\n\r\nThe original sensor is housed in drain pipes, which is an affordable option but also appears quite plain. The construction uses an OBO Bettermann T60 junction box, which looks nicer and offers UV resistance as well as IP66 water protection. All components are mounted on the printed frame and secured inside the junction box. Two air intake pipes at the bottom of the box allow airflow. A printed tunnel directs incoming air to the sensor, eliminating the need for a hose. Screens in the air intake pipes prevent insects from crawling into the box.\r\n\r\nA DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor is required for this construction and is placed against the wall of the inlet air tunnel, protecting it from rain while still exposing it to outside air. There is space for an optional BMP180 air pressure sensor.\r\n\r\nThe OpenSCAD source code is available at GitHub. A small tool collects sensor data to a database, making it possible to analyze with tools like Grafana.\r\n\r\n-----\r\n\r\n[Bauanleitung auf Deutsch](https://shred.zone/cilla/page/401/wir-bauen-uns-einen-feinstaubsensor.html) (assembly instructions in German)
