Particle Borg

I've been experimenting with Blender particle systems using a 14mm cube. By applying several cubes as hair on another cube, I then converted the hair into solids. Following this, I removed the original cube, leaving only its hair behind. After some cleaning up, I achieved something that resembled a destroyed Borg cube. Since my creation has holes throughout it, I'm curious to see how it would work as a pendant.
