Human: Partia lanomalous pulmonary venous connection (PAPVC) is a rare congenital heart defect. In this defect, blood flow from several pulmonary veins returns to the right atrium rather than the left atrium. Typically, only one pulmonary vein is anomalous. This model depicts an example of PAPV, where the anomalous right superior pulmonary vein drains directly into the Superior Vena Cava and then enters the right atrium instead of flowing into the left atrium as it normally would.
