Standing beside the corner is a stern-looking marshal draped in an ancient Greek mantle called an himation. Following closely behind are two rugged horsemen clad in a short tunic known as a chiton, wrapped tightly around their legs with a cape called a chlamys. On their feet are sturdy embades boots, while atop their heads rests a distinctive fox-skin cap referred to as an alopekis.
