A straightforward I3 lamp to light up the hob gear and build plate. The lamp utilizes three 10mm Super Bright LEDs, a 470 OHM current limiting resistor, and a slide on/off switch. Initially specified at 68 ohms, but found that lights began to fade after a few weeks, leading to the use of a 470 ohm resistor instead. The wiring is designed for a 12-volt supply system. The positive lead connects directly to the middle post on the switch, then flows out to the 470 ohm resistor, and from there to the positive lead of LED number one. From that point forward, all LEDs connect in series with their negatives tied to the positives, ending with the final LED's negative terminal connecting directly to ground via the power supply.
