Part Jar Trays (Fast Vase Mode)
prusaprinters

These trays organize part jars from my other project: Part Jars (Fast Vase Mode)

The skeleton frame design minimizes filament usage and allows the trays to be printed quickly using spiral vase mode. The frames flex some but the bottom flanges prevent the jars from falling out. The spiral ends are designed to fuse with the adjoining walls to add extra rigidity.

The trays are available in 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 grids or a round 7 in a number of different jar diameter sizes. See the download folders for options.

Print Settings:

Material: PLA

Nozzle: 0.4mm

Layer Height: 0.2mm

Line Width: 0.5mm <== Important

Perimeters: 1

Bottom Layers: 0 <== Important

Infill: None

Supports: None

Bed Adhesion: Skirt

Spiral Vase: Enabled (Prusa Slicer setting)

Spiralize Outer Contour: Enabled (Cura setting)

Smooth Spiralized Contours: Disable (Cura setting)

Printing Orientation: Tray bottom-side down

Notes:

The printer should have a 0.4mm nozzle.

Setting Bottom Layers to zero saves a little time and filament by not filling in the center walls.
