Sleeve for heated rear window cables, corresponding to part number 589818, is no longer obtainable in most places. In this scenario, a squared section was made instead of keeping it round like before. The results suggest that a squared design serves the purpose just fine, despite a few minor tweaks needing attention. Specifically, adjusting the curvature will undoubtedly require some effort. Building with PLA is already a reality due to available resources, however PLA's properties may pose challenges. Its brittleness and lack of flexibility can compromise performance in certain applications. Testing over time should give a clear indication whether or not it works. Consider creating the sleeve with a brim to prevent deformation during the printing process. As an added measure, two small columns were created to support the little protrusion that connects these parts together. They are fragile enough and easy to break if needed.
