Part cooler Geeetech A10 (fan duct for 50mm fan)
thingiverse
This design marks a significant leap forward over the standard Geeetech A10 part cooler. I fine-tuned the airflow to maximize cooling efficiency, directing it precisely where needed without generating turbulence. By streamlining the air flow, this fan duct ensures that the air reaches its intended destination with ease. Most of the available part cooling designs on Thingiverse were tested, but unfortunately, none of them provided any tangible improvements. As a result, I had to create my own design from scratch. After several iterations, this final version emerged. My PLA filament exhibited a tendency to warp and curl on overhanging edges with the original part cooler, resulting in an uneven bow on the benchy boat and lifted edges on prints that caused problems. However, using this new design has allowed me to print 100mm bridges without support at 210°C and achieve perfect benchy boats. The holes for the 50mm fan are carefully designed to accommodate regular M4x20 screws without requiring nuts. The fan duct fits seamlessly into place where the original 4015 fan was mounted, making it easy to secure with the four original M2 screws.
