Part 6 M2VS V2 Engine screw

Part 6 M2VS V2 Engine screw

thingiverse

This is part six of the workshop, sticking to the V-engine format but switching to a bolted version. Generally, you can use the same crankshaft as in the single-cylinder engine, just with flat connecting rods. Alternatively, consider using the flat connecting rods from the clipped motor, requiring an M2 screw and washer. The same pistons, cylinders, and cylinder heads are used again. You have two options for the crankshaft: either use the one from the single-cylinder engine M1ES with flat connecting rods, or opt for the new crankshaft with a lower connecting rod eye of 5 mm, which will require an M2 screw and washer. The V-motor base is new, also applicable in the standing position, where you'll need a M3 x 8 mm cylinder head screw with nut. The assembly should be clear from the pictures and can be completed within ten minutes.
