We're increasing the number of cylinders in this workshop, starting with a clipped motor that's essentially a V2 machine, known as M2VC. The same pistons, cylinders, and cylinder heads are used again here, but we do have a new crank from the single-cylinder engine M1EC that can be utilized. The V-engine base is the main difference in this setup. We've also adapted the connecting rods, which are flattened to 1.25 mm on the crank side and need to be installed opposite each other to accommodate the same high cylinder. You'll find these exact same connecting rods used in both the boxer engine and the radial engine. Beyond using piston pin bolts (or filament wire as an alternative), we don't need any additional parts for this setup. With a 72-degree cylinder angle and a displacement of 2.72 cc, we're looking at a compact and efficient engine design.
