Parrot Sequoia Mount for DJI Phantom 4
thingiverse
This cradle was designed specifically for the Parrot Sequoia Camera/Sensor, making it easy to secure any GoPro-shaped camera within its main body. Given that the Sequoia sits slightly below the bottom of the cradle, users will require landing extenders to ensure a safe and stable fit. The Body Mount file can be securely attached to the side of the Sequoia using 3M double-sided tape. A carbon fiber rod is then connected from the cradle through the body mount, with the sunbase mounted on top for optimal support. Additional notes and pictures will be added in the future to provide a comprehensive guide for mounting and sourcing supplies needed to integrate the Sequoia with the Phantom 4 drone. As for battery encasement, it has not yet been designed, but a suitable option is available from Z-Copters: https://zcopters.com/en/product/parrot-sequoia-mount-for-phantom-4-and-phantom-4-pro/. A battery specifically designed for this purpose can be purchased separately. It's also worth noting that the Sequoia may be powered directly from the USB port of the drone, allowing users to bypass traditional power sources. This has been tested on the ground but not yet in flight. The micro USB to USB-A adapter used for this purpose is available at https://www.showmecables.com/micro-usb-2-b-male-to-a-female-6-in?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9eSwnu2h3gIVAr7ACh0IvgM2EAQYAiABEgJD-PD_BwE. For the carbon fiber rod, users can refer to Amazon's product listing at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EVN0BVU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. When selecting a rod length, it's essential to strike a balance between ensuring clearance from the drone's top and avoiding excessive protrusion.
