This entry submits a design concept for the Parrot Drone accessory competition. Once racing enthusiasts have had their fill of speed, they can shift their focus to utilizing their drone as a cargo carrier with the Jumping Drone Trailer. Designed specifically with 3D printing in mind, the trailer's grid basket appearance and panelling assembly allow for faster print times, despite its relatively large size. The trailer breaks down into several components that require assembly: · A coupling attachment to secure it firmly to the drone · A cardan joint enabling rotation on two separate axes · The base of the trailer · Two wheels featuring grooves where rubber bands can be placed to prevent slipping when reversing with the drone · Two lateral pieces for the crate, which may require adhesive for a secure fit · Two front/end components for the crate, also requiring adhesive for optimal assembly
