Parrot Disco Mobius Mini Mount
thingiverse
Parrot Disco Mobius Mini Mount I'm absolutely thrilled with my disco, but one thing that's always held them back is the camera, so I came up with this innovative solution, cleverly pieced together from the best features of various other camera mounts I've tried. To bring it to life, print at a 0.2 layer height, use a wide brim for enhanced bed adhesion (I used an 8mm brim), and employ supports "everywhere"... then, if you're using Cura, add a support blocker that covers everything except where the camera goes. By doing this, you'll avoid having all the holes clogged up with pesky support material. Printing in the orientation shown ensures the ideal combination of support structure while keeping layer lines in a helpful direction. It worked like a charm on my disco and provides pin-sharp footage, a stark contrast to the disco's own stabilized but somewhat soft and blurry footage. Attach it to the plane's canopy with either some high-quality double-sided foam tape (3M brand recommended) or with 3mm screws that go right through the canopy and have washers and lock nuts on the back out of sight. For added security, I've incorporated a slot for a velcro strap to ensure the camera stays put.
