Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Foot Extension

Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Foot Extension

Update: Built a brand new version of these drone feet after they shattered during a precision (hard) crash from approximately 40 feet in the air. Strengthened the "clip on" part of the foot with a curved back to prevent breakage. Also added a small circular section to connect to a spring-loaded foot to absorb more impact (still untested). If you decide to test the prototype spring foot, you will need a very tiny spring to insert into the carrier and then push it onto the main foot. When printing the drone foot, make sure to lay it flat on the side without the curvature. You can locate the flat side by zooming in on the model in your slicing software... These extension feet work flawlessly to keep the drone above leaves and tall grass. Print four of them and they slide over the existing feet, holding firmly in place. They even have tiny slots for small zip-ties to fit through if you want a "shock absorbing" foot.
