This is a replacement motor mount designed specifically for the ParkZone Wildcat. The original part is no longer manufactured by the OEM, and as a result of frequent hard landings, the mounting bracket often breaks. To ensure that numerous aircraft in circulation continue to fly safely, this replacement part is necessary. The new motor mount will seamlessly match the original component. Additionally, it can be easily modified to accommodate larger motors with offset mounting holes. I plan to work on adapting the files to include an offset mounting hole design, which will enable users to upgrade their motors without any difficulties. When printing the motor mount, it is essential to note that the design requires no rafts or supports due to its solid construction. The motor mount holes are carefully positioned within the bracket, leaving a 3mm clearance for standard motor mounting bolts. As seen in the accompanying photos, this replacement mount is an exact match for the original component. The battery box is intended as a replacement part for situations where the stock unit has been damaged beyond repair following a crash. This ensures that pilots can quickly and easily replace their batteries without having to worry about costly repairs. The firewall wedge is designed specifically for scenarios where the firewall has been severely damaged, typically after a severe crash. A flat ply plate is often installed in such cases, but this wedge helps to restore the original down and right thrust angle of the motor mount. The design precisely matches the stock angles, ensuring seamless performance.
