Parkside X12VTeam 12V battery protection cap
thingiverse
This is a protection cap for Lidl Parkside 12V battery. It is supposed to be a lightweight, thin cap, that protects the contacts of the batter from accidental touches to metal parts and thus creating a short circuit in the bag, transport box etc. I always put this protection cap on when I am putting the battery in my backpack with other tools This cap does not have any retention clip - it is simply a tight fit, so that it does not slip off too easily. The model can be parametrized, so if you want to play with the dimension, tighteness, wall thickness, you will find the parameters in the SCAD file. There are basically two option to print: 1) In the vase mode, 2-3 bottom layers, 0.7mm extrusion width and 0.6mm nozzle. Then you need the "12V_cap_vasemode.stl" file (or use hollow=0 parameter in the scad). I haven't tried with 0.4mm nozzle, but it should in principle work, though I would recommend to use wider extrusion, otherwise the walls might be too thin. 2) standart way, then use the "12V_cap.stl" file
