Parkside Spindlelock PABS 18-2 Adapter (to Einhell PXC 18V)
prusaprinters

This is a machine-battery adapter for a Parkside drill that originally used 18V Ni-Cd batteries and is now able to mount 18V Li-Ion batteries (in this case Einhell Power-X-Change). The drill works perfectly with the new batteries, even though it smells a bit, which is probably caused by the higher voltage of Li-Ion batteries (especially when fully charged). Warning: This might destroy your machine over time…or it just works and smells a bit.

Extra stuff you need:

some wiring and a soldering station

male connectors for the Einhell mount (e.g. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000104101344.html )

some metal sheets for the Parkside adapter (cut & reuse the original ones)

some (hot) glue to glue the contacts into the adapters

some screws to fit the two parts together (I used M4)

Pay attention to fit the metal sheets perfectly into the slots, as the connectors of the drill will reach all the way to the bottom part of these slots.

The Einhell mount is a remix this one, fixing some dimensions, sharp edges, and it was adapted to fit well with the Parkside one.

Post-Printing

Break support structures apart

Drill some holes to the drill to screw the adapter to the drill.
