Parkour Acrylic Piece
thingiverse
To start, I opened Adobe Illustrator and created a design of a man performing parkour by jumping between buildings. Next, I set up the preferences for laser etching. The raster cut speed was set at 100%, while its power was 50%. Meanwhile, vector cut speed was at 12%, with its power at 100%. Vector cut frequency was 5000 Hz. The combined box for vector and raster cuts was checked, as well as the auto-focus feature. After designing, I printed the artwork on a CNC laser machine using a blue acrylic sheet. Finally, I took photos of the finished piece and shared it on Thingiverse.
