This modification is based on the "Parking Assistant" from "Instructables.com".(https://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-Parking-Assistant/) The original version is housed in a wooden case, with detailed instructions on how to create it. In contrast, my version features a 3D printed case designed using FreeCad, which I'm grateful for. Unlike the original, this model employs a neopixel ring from adafruit (WS2812), accessible at https://www.adafruit.com/product/1463. To accommodate the WS2812 led ring, I modified the Arduino code. The original uses an Arduino pro mini, whereas my version relies on a "Trinket" from adafruit, available at https://www.adafruit.com/products/1501. Both versions utilize the HC-SR04 sonic sensor (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MA4O5G5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and a push button to set the initial parking distance, similar to this one: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1119. Printer settings are as follows: Printer brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .3 Infill: yes Notes: This project is done on a Printrbot Simple Metal Pro.
