Park Tool lockring tool converter from 5mm QR to 12mm thru axle

Update: Since I've switched from SketchUp to Fusion 360 for modeling, I'm reworking older designs and updating the good ones in Fusion. The basic design remains intact, but now a parametric model is available. The original STL from SketchUp remains unchanged. I've got the Park Tool FR-5.2G cassette lockring tool for removing and installing cassette lockrings. The 5mm guide pin helps keep it aligned when using it on quick-release style hubs, but what about newer 12mm thru-axle hubs? You could buy the Park Tool FR 5.2GT with a 12mm guide pin, but then you'd have two separate cassette lockring tools. Instead, you can print this handy little converter and use one FR-5.2G for both types of hub. It's designed to fit snugly inside a 12mm thru-axle and securely over the 5mm guide pin of the lockring tool with a tighter fit at the end to prevent accidental slippage. It should still be loose enough that you can easily remove it by hand. Depending on your printer's accuracy, it may need some sanding afterwards, but it should work fine right out of the box. It could be longer, but I don't think that's necessary - the current length is sufficient to guide the tool without any play. If you really want it longer, the 5mm guide pin is 55mm long, and I've made the part 40mm long. Scale it in the Z-axis by 37.5% in your slicer, and you'll end up with a length similar to the guide pin. However, I don't think it will make a significant difference. Also, since the end of the nose is designed to be a light interference fit to hold it in place, you don't need to push it all the way into the tool, and you'll get more engagement that way. This converter works with Shimano or SRAM lockrings, 11 or 12t, as well as SRAM 1x cassettes.
