The Park Tool DT-5.2 disk brake mount facing tool arrives in a convenient plastic box with precision-cut foam inserts that cradle each major component. However, the standoffs and center pin required for working with flat mount (road style) disc brakes are carelessly tossed into a small plastic pouch. This arrangement didn't seem satisfactory, so I designed this device to securely hold them in place. The two grey standoffs destined for the front fork boast M5x0.8mm threads that firmly secure them. In contrast, the black standoffs intended for the rear brake feature O-rings that snugly grip them, resulting in holes with a smooth taper and slight curvature. The silver center pin used on flat mount front brakes serves as a guide, replacing the stock black center pin.
