This self-extracting crank cap tool is designed to remove and install one-key release caps on SRAM and Race Face cranks with a 16mm hex hole. It features an investment cast steel construction, providing better leverage through its 8mm hex key. Additionally, it can be used to fit 8-point adjusting caps on Shimano Hollowtech II crank/bottom bracket systems. The built-in hook lifts safety plates on left side Shimano Hollowtech II crank arms. It can also be utilized with an optional 8mm hex wrench for stubborn caps.
