This high relief sculpted by Renoir, the well known French artist, is part of many of his sculptures produced during the final part of his artistic career. Many of these sculptures, made at  the end of his life, are direct transpositions of his paintings just like this one reminding us of the painted original. These works were largely made by an assistant who had previously studied with Maillol.
