Parasol Hand Crank Spinner

Parasol Hand Crank Spinner

My trusty Parasol hand crank snapped, leaving me stranded in the rain. I popped open the umbrella and discovered that the metal component had disintegrated into a thousand pieces. I swiftly grabbed my calipers and set out to design a replacement part, determined not to splurge on an expensive new parasol. By doing so, I managed to save around €300, a significant sum considering the cost of a brand-new umbrella. After some trial and error, I came to realize that PLA was woefully inadequate for this particular task. Undeterred, I decided to give ABS a try, and to my delight, it has proven to be more than capable of withstanding the rigors of everyday use. For anyone who needs to make modifications to my design, I've uploaded the model to Onshape, where you can access it by clicking this link: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/e8ecee9e3208f419ee4a8c05/w/806236f79b86b1014041260a/e/483f4044b8c4a91323ea291e
