"The Host" - a pesky attachment that clings to larger objects, not always a friendly presence. Designed for airsoft use, I attach this one before heading out to CQB games. It's optimized to fire PPS gas shells, so similar-sized rounds like Madbull and Dytac should also work seamlessly. This Parasite requires only four printed parts. In addition to these, you'll need 1) a firing pin spring that fits snugly in the button; alternatively, four ballpoint pen springs will do in a pinch - and 2) two 6mm dia. x 2mm magnets to keep the barrel securely closed. Although I haven't found these magnets essential during my games, they're included for added security. Assembly is straightforward: simply rotate the body onto the mount, slide the small tab into the slot, and then position the mount on a picatinny rail where it will reside. Insert the firing pin spring(s) & button as you guide the rear plate into place - this slides down over the button, locking the mount firmly onto the rail. Important Note: under no circumstances should you attempt to load real shotgun shells into this device. It's unlikely to function properly, and if it does, it may cause severe personal injury or even death. Don't even consider it. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao i3 v2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Notes: The mount should be printed with the large end facing upwards on the build plate, with supports in place for added stability. The body and firing pin button can also be printed upright without issue. I've used PLA with great success, but feel free to experiment with other materials if desired.
