Parametrized X-rod mount
thingiverse
This OpenSCAD script is based on Twotimes' X-Rod Mount design, incorporating codes from Giles Bathgate and whosawhatsis. The creator expresses gratitude for the borrowed code but is unsure about licensing details. Users can modify the script freely. V01 improved bolt holes' smoothness, while V02 applied "Incomplete Polygons" design, added slices to avoid blobs, and refined rounded corners. Kitsu's suggestion led to enlarging holes by 5%. V03 switched the license to Creative Commons - GPL, and V04 modified teardrop function for smoothness, including an STL file. Users can adjust rod size (e.g., 6mm or 8mm) and bolt size (M3 or M4) as desired.
