This is the second and expanded version of a Generator for Wing Profiles of the Four-digit NACA Series. The first version included only the "00xx" types. The second version has been expanded to include the "xxxx" types. In this regard, the meanings of individual digits are as follows: Meaning of Digits of the NACA 2412 Profile: 1. Digit: 2 – maximum camber of 2% (profile chord length), 2. Digit: 4 – multiplied by 10 = 40%. So the maximum camber is at 40% of the profile chord length (measured from the leading edge of the wing). 3 and 4 digits: 12 – The maximum thickness of the profile is 12% of the profile chord length. NACA 2412 has a 2% camber, which is 4/10 behind the wing nose and 12% thick in relation to the profile depth. The whole thing is "Work-In-Progress" and will be gradually expanded to include further NACA variants. Known errors: 1. At present, invalid entries can still be made. If a profile has no camber (first digit = 0), it also has no camber delay (second digit = 0). With a leading zero, the second digit must also necessarily be zero (symmetric profiles of the NACA-00xx series). So, for example, there can be no NACA-0312 profile. 2. At present, any values can be entered. However, only certain values are permissible: The camber could take on 4 different values (first digit) the values 0, 2, 4 or 6 (% of profile depth) could be taken. The camber delay could take on 7 different values (second digit) the values 0, 2, 3, 4 … 7 (i.e. 0%, 20%, 30%, 40% to 70% of profile depth). The maximum thickness could take on 6 different values (third and fourth digits) the values 06, 09, 12, 15, 18 or 21 (% of profile depth).
