To minimize or eliminate the wobble caused by the threaded rod moving the carriage in Z direction, consider separating X-axis and Z-axis movements using a mechanical split introduced through a lifting block. These blocks have proven effective in improving part quality in my past projects. This design stands out as it is parametric, allowing for customization to suit individual needs. Parameters can be adjusted, such as the center-to-center distance of guides and threaded rods, lift height, and guide rod shaft diameter.
