Parametric vase mode cans (soda cans, pringles cans, polygonal cans)
prusaprinters

Update 7/2/2019: updated the pringles can default with a tapered base so they stack. Added a photo of Pringles can with an Icebreakers mint top... it fits perfectly.

I've been using soda cans for storage using my soda can lid

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3637291

but aluminum cans are delicate and easily crushed. So I made my own cans.

Fully parametric... make whatever size and shape you wish. Drop the $fn value very low and you can make polygonal containers as well.

The defaults (except the polygons) were created to match standard soda can sizes and a pringles can.

Printed in vase mode. I use a .6 line width using a .4 nozzle and .2 layer height. The result isVERY strong.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

CR10S PRO

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

vase/spiral mode

Filament: PLA green

Notes:

vase/spiral mode
.4 nozzle
.6 line width

.2 layer height

Category: Containers
