Parametric V-Slot Corner Bracket

Parametric V-Slot Corner Bracket

thingiverse

This allows you to create a corner bracket where three V-Slot extrusions meet. The extrusions are completely surrounded by the corner, making it incredibly rigid. Thanks to Carl Feniak for the V-Slot indentation specifications used on the C-Bot. Before You Print I suggest printing a test piece before printing an entire bracket in order to ensure that your printer's tolerance is correct. A snug fit is desired so that it takes some force to get the extrusions to fit, but not so much force that you scrape up the bracket getting the extrusions in. Notes on Parameters The V-Slot profile dimensions are defined by xExtrusionWidthSections, xExtrusionDepthSections, yExtrusionWidthSections, yExtrusionDepthSections, zExtrusionWidthSections, and zExtrusionDepthSections. For example, if the vertical extrusion is 2040, you would use zExtrusionWidthSections = 1 and zExtrusionDepthSections = 2. The lengths of the edges starting at the beginning of extrusions along the X, Y, and Z axes are defined by xExtrusionLength, yExtrusionLength, and zExtrusionLength respectively. Depending on your parameters, you may be able to print without supports. Print Settings Printer: C-Bot Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: Doesn't Matter Infill: at least 20%
