Parametric USB power hub

Parametric USB power hub

thingiverse

This USB power distribution block connects to a 5V supply (like ATX) and supports multiple devices for your project; currently, I use mine with a raspberry pi, teensy, and ethernet/wifi bridge. The STL accommodates three straight USB connectors but is parametric, allowing up to 47 connectors if desired. To assemble, insert the connectors into the holder, bend side tabs out for stability, and squeeze inner springs for easier cable insertion. Solder middle data pins together on each connector, then link pin 1 and pin 4 with power supply (remember positive and negative polarity). Finally, press the holder into the back part for a snug fit without glue. Attach using double-stick tape or velcro as needed.
