Parametric U-Bolt Bracket for Bicycle Head Tube

I designed this U-Bolt Bracket to attach a cargo rack to the front of my e-bike. The printed parts provide support from the head post (50mm and 41mm in this case) to aluminum profiles. I've included an OpenScad design so you can adapt sizes, diameters of screws, and tubes to your needs. Currently, I use M5 stainless threaded rods that I bend around a tube, then cover with a strong sleeve to avoid damaging the paint. The provided STLs are set for 40mmx3mm aluminum profiles connecting the top and bottom bracket; you'll need a backing plate for the u-bolt screws that should be at least as wide as the brackets (20mm) and thick enough for your cargo. Depending on your head tube and bearing symmetry, one or two design elements may need to be adapted and exported to STL. The printed plastic is bolted with metal plates so it only receives pressure load. I used PETG, which should withstand summer temperatures without issue.
